About Simon Macdonald

Principal Accountant - simon@blackbearaccountants.com.au

Simon has worked in marketing, tourism and management, and owned successful small businesses. After  many years in the city of Brisbane cutting his teeth in award winning mid-tier practice Vincent's, he created Black Bear in 2012.

He holds all of the required qualifications along with a few extras, including:

• Bachelor of Business (SCU);

• Masters of Commerce (UQ);

• Registered Tax Agent;

• Registered ASIC Agent;

• Xero Certified Accountant.

When he is not Black Bear his perfect day would be snowboarding with family and friends, followed by an icy cold lager.
